Rain causes landslide across train track. Passengers all the way from KL to JB sent scurrying like headless ants as KTM executes a mind-boggling strategy to re-shuttle of affected passengers. How I managed to get myself back to S’pore instead of finding myself at KL instead, I really don’t know. :-)
According to KTM, a train bridge collapsed. Thankfully, there weren’t any casualties but 1400 passengers were inconvenienced.
I hope you were given a refund and/or an opportunity to harangue someone.
Yes, it was lucky there weren’t any casualties, but on the bright side, we got to harangue several officials over their non-communication on what the heck was happening. We opted not to pursue the refund as it wasn’t worth the hassle of travelling to their KTM office for a measly 20% refund they offered.
