Hell battled

Painkiller: Battle Out of Hell complete.

It’s a shame the expansion ended with another annoying boss battle with silly rules but I suppose the fact it was significantly less silly and annoying than the final boss battle in the original game should count for something.

One final note: the final cutscene kept crashing on me and I had to watch it on YouTube instead. I can’t say I was thrilled by the way it ended but then I didn’t play the game for the story.

I’ll try to post a review of the expansion but here’s a quick recommendation: Painkiller Gold (which bundles the original game with the Battle Out of Hell expansion) is available through Steam for 10 bucks and it will be the best 10 buck you’ll spend on a game in this year or any other.
